Let It Snow!
October 28, 2009
Hey Listeners, Thanks to the weather conditions, the Colorado School of Mines is closing for the evening at 3pm. Because local travel is very dangerous, some shows will not be broadcasted tonight (and possibly tomorrow evening as well). Normal programming will resume as soon as as the weather conditions improve.
For those on Campus (or in NE Colorado), enjoy the snow and stay safe!
Keep Rocking!

File Server Problems
September 30, 2009
Hey listeners, our file server was turned off yesterday morning due to hardware problems. We will try to have it up and running again very soon. We will run music off our broadcast computer until it is running again, and Live Shows will continue as normal.
UPDATE (10/01/2009):
The File Server is back up and running. We replaced the corrupted hard drive and it has finally finished the rebuild. Enjoy the music.
Thanks for Listening!

Server Software Upgrades
The liquidsoap system that the radio station runs on is currently about a year outdated. This isn't a huge issue, however there are some very fancy features that have been added. Tomorrow (Sunday, December 14, 2008), the radio server for Mines Internet Radio will be down in order to upgrade this software. Please be patient.
Thanks for listening,

File Server Rebuild Complete
Broads and Good Rats,
The rebuild has completed at 04:45 on November 04, 2008. Now it's time to get a wink of sleep before voting. If there's any issues, you know the drill.

File Server Rebuild
Broads and Good Rats,
During last week's entertaining failure in power systems (thanks Xcel) our file server decided to crash and burn. The file system is safe, so no music appears to be lost at this time, however the utilities to mount the file system and propel the music to the server that streams the tuney goodness to you decided to go down, down, down to mephisto's cafe. I'll be here all night rebuilding the beast, so feel free to come and chill with me (food appreciated). Also, the music during the rebuild is coming from a music service at last.fm, so check it out. My username is poostickD in case you want to see my "library".

Minor Adjustments and Profile Editing
Broads and Good Rats:
The website has just been given a few minor and one major improvement. The schedule in the sidebar has been aligned a little better. Also, the time are just four digits. No more seconds!
Anyway, the major improvement just so happens to be the ability to edit your user profile (sans picture just yet). Everyone will have to come see me to reset your initial password. DO NOT EMAIL ME as I will not change your password for you. I don't want to know it, ever...
Just find me sometime and we'll get you a password. Wednesday nights from 1700 to 2100 in the Computer Commons is the best.
See You 'Round,
~DANIEL WILLIAMS
